How to use this site

This mapping site shows the nearest public transport stops to each of the HPFT NHS sites.

Navigating the maps

Clicking anywhere on the main overview map on the homepage will take you to a county-level map, centred on where you clicked. You can move around the map by clicking and dragging either the map itself, or the orange box in the inset map in the top-right corner.

On the county map, you will see grey boxes marking certain towns; clicking on one of them will take you to a town-level map, again centred on where you clicked. You can move around the town maps in the same way as the county map.

On the town maps, you can see railway stations, bus stops (marked by icons), and NHS sites (marked by icons). You can click on these locations to show information about them, such as the bus services calling at a stop, or details about an NHS site.

You can zoom in and out of the different levels of map by using the zoom bar in the top left corner, either by clicking on the "+" or "-" icons, or by clicking on one of the bars representing the levels of the map. The bars for the town map level will not be enabled unless the map is centred over a town area.

Searching

A search facility is provided, which will let you search for NHS sites and other locations by name, timetables by the service number, or postcodes. The search results page will let you jump straight to the appropriate level of the map, centred on the location chosen.

Quick links are also available from the homepage, allowing you to jump straight to a town map or NHS site, or to view a service timetable PDF.
